Their weight limit depends on the weight-to-height ratio, 250 lbs for riders under 6 feet and 275 kg for folks over 6ft.

All riders must be aged six and above, and minors (18 and below) must provide a signed liability waiver form for all riders before riding. 

A reservation 24 hours before is required. You have the option of either booking online or calling ahead.

Riders under 17 years are required to wear the helmets provided by the facility.

Cave Creek Trail Rides

Located inside the cave creek regional park in Scottsdale, you are sure to have fun. Cave Creek Trail Rides is sure to be the highlight of your trip, from the warm, hospitable wranglers to the friendly well cared for horses.

Cave Creek caters to riders of all levels with views of the Go John Mountains and the Phoenix Valley below, which are the perfect backdrop for your Instagram photos.

1-Hour Loop Ride 

This loop ride is the most accessible and suitable ride for kids and some beginners with no horse experience.

This ride goes around the hill with not much elevation gain, views of the desert and the saguaros and cholla.

1-Hour Sunset Ride

1.5 Hour Ride 

With several trail options dependant on your groups’ size and experience level, this ride makes it perfect for those who want to be one with nature.

1.5 Hour Sunset Ride 

Is there anymore to be said, you on horseback as the sunsets. There’s nothing quite as glorious.

2 Hour Ride 

With a minimum of 4 people during peak season, this ride is suitable for more experienced riders as the elevation gains to 500ft.

2.5 Hour Ride 

It’s a favorite amongst returning customers, thanks to the gentle slopes and the sizeable Sonoran desert, making it feel like you find a new adventure every time you’re there. This ride is perfect for riders looking for a unique experience.

3 Hour Ride 

The ride trails through the backcountry passes and the ever-changing flora and fauna.

1 Hour Buckaroo Ride 

Perfect and well suited for younger kids and beginners. While on this ride, you are sure to see Toms’s thumb, four peaks, and weavers needle in the superstitious mountains, and the charges are $80 per person.

2 Hour Cowpoke Ride

On this scenic ride, you get to explore the cowpoke trail while gaining some elevation. On your ride back, the trail leads you to the base of granite mountains through a forest of saguaros, and it’s charged at $120 per person.

3 Hour Wild West Ride
