How To Watch Yellowstone Season 5

The show does a fantastic job of keeping us on our toes, not knowing which way they are heading but how can I watch Yellowstone season 5? If you aren’t already a Yellowstone fan, get ready to be one.

Now that it’s official that Yellowstone will be returning to our screens for another inspired season, we can’t help but feel nostalgic about it.

Co-created by Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone follows the lives of a cattle ranching family in Montana in their fight against greedy land developers, sleazy condo builders, and an indigenous tribe looking to reclaim the land.

Not only is the plotline of Yellowstone incredible, but the list of characters led by Kevin Costner and incredible animal guest stars (Metallic Cat) makes it all the more endearing.

Yellowstone Season 4 Recap

As we look forward to what will happen in season 5, let’s look at what happened in season 4. This season revolves more around Beth and the lengths she goes to in her family’s name.

After what seemed like an eternity, John is finally awake from his coma. Beth is miraculously alive after her office is blown to smithereens.

In addition, after killing the militia in his office, Kayce goes after the men who were after John.

John has a much quieter season. However, we see him try to negotiate Summer’s (his one-time fling) prison sentence after she protests the building of a new airport and lands herself in prison.

He also goes after Garett, and they have a worse dad moment. On the other hand, Beth juggles her time destroying Market Equities and landing Corporate espionage charges.

She pays a visit to the man she believes is behind the attacks. However, she finds out that Jamie knew about Garett.

On her way home, she kidnaps a priest at gunpoint and has him marry her and Rip, with John, Carter, and Llyold acting as witnesses.

Jamie finds himself on the wrong side. Beth has him cornered and feels he has no other recourse. He kills Garett.

Th, however, has worse consequences. Beth takes photos of him dumping the body, which she plans on using as blackmail.

After the attacks on Monica and Tate, Kayce moves them out of the ranch. In addition, despite things going well, he decides to go on a vision quest after talking to Chief Rainwater.

He sees an unpleasant future which opens the door for season 5 and all upcoming seasons.

Is Yellowstone Season 5 Filming

As of now, there haven’t been any reports on whether filming has begun. However, when speaking to Deadline, Co-Creator Taylor Sheridan said filming would begin in May.

The new season will have 14 episodes divided into two installments despite the long waiting period. The first seven are expected to premiere during the summer and the second half later in the year.

Who Will Be In Season 5

The original cast is set to return with a few guest stars bumped up to series regulars.

Summer, Piper Perabo

John, environmental activist, one-time fling, and soon be Beth’s stepmom, Summer will be returning for the new season, and whether she’s still behind bars or John’s String finds a way to get her out. We cant wait to see what is in store for the young activist.

Tetter, Jen Landon

It was no surprise that they brought back Teeter, there arent a lot of pink-haired Texans who rope as good as they spit.

From her first appearance in season 3, when she delivered one of the best lines, “do I look like my f… the name is Peter, you skunk-haired mother….er? To her roping in Colby in one of her schemes, this season is sure to be one heck of a fireball.

Carter, Finn Little

After seeing Beth “warm” up to Carter and seeing this whole new world upon up for both of them, Carter being a new addition to the family will not only be suitable for the Duttons, but he signifies the new generation of Dutton men.

Caroline Warner, Played By Jack Weaver

As soon as Caroline comes on screen, she brings with her enthusiasm. You can tell she means business, and with Beth having double-crossed her, I cant wait to see the bite behind her latest threat of turning the ranch into a public toilet.

Jimmy As Jefferson’s White

Although he’s not a guest star, after his exit to the 6666 ranches, it seemed that would be the last time we see Jimmy on the Yellowstone Ranch.

Speaking to U.S. Weekly, he said that he is indeed in season 5 and we cant wait to see his journey continue as a married man.

Tanaya Beatty As Avery

There is no doubt that Avery will be reprising her role in the upcoming season.

Despite her being in a handful of episodes in seasons 2 and 3 after Kayces vision quest, where he dreams of kissing her, we may be seeing more of her.

Commander Bill Ramsey

Although there hasn’t been any formal confirmation from the show’s producers, after the abrupt death of sheriff Donnie Haskell, the town will need a new sheriff, and that might be commander Bill.

Yellowstone Season 5 Plotline

Although there’s no official record for the season 5 plotline, we have a couple of theories on which storylines might take center stage.

After being fired from her job at market equities, how will the feud between market equities’ new head Caroline and Beth continue?

You don’t backstab or commit corporate espionage against such a big company and expect to escape.

How about Jamie and John’s relationship? Now that Jamie is back in his sister’s pocket, will John still run for governor?

Will that change how John feels about him with Jamie expecting a baby? The relationship between John and Jamie will be one to watch out for.

Another relationship is that of Jamie and his baby mama Kristina. Despite their relationship not getting the spotlight in the last season, it would be nice to see Jamie step up and protect his family.

How will Kayce’s vision pan out for him, Monica, and the rest of the family? After what he unceremoniously calls the end of us, we can only begin to question whether that is his marriage (hello Avery) or the Dutton legacy.

How To Watch Season 5

Since its first premiere on Paramount in 2018, Yellowstone has become the number one most-viewed cable tv show. Knowing where and how to watch it with such ratings can be confusing.

When season 5 premieres, fans of Yellowstone who have cable can tune in to watch the show, and they can either on the Paramount Network or the Paramount Network app.

The first three seasons are available for streaming on Peacock Premium, while season 4 episodes are available on Paramount plus if you live in the U.S. It’s possible to watch all season with DirectTV.

However, you’ll have to part with $2.99 per episode. Season 4 will be available for streaming on Peacock starting March 28, 2022.

A Peacock basic plan is charged at $4.99 per month. However, if you want to watch a couple of episodes, you can do so through Amazon iTunes or Vudu.

The new season will probably be airing exclusively on the Paramount Network on a week-to-week basis.

For die-hard fans, Yellowstone season 4 is available on both DVD and blu ray and includes over 4 hours of bonus footage: behind the scenes and never before seen interviews.

Seasons 1-3 are also available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Looking For Something Else To Binge

Thanks to the success of Yellowstone, there are a couple of prequels and sequels with Taylor working on them.

1883, a prequel, follows the Dutton family as they embark from Texas through the Great Plains to Montana. The show boasts an impressive cast, Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill.

1883 has one complete season. Season 2 is in the works. In addition, 1883 is available exclusively on Paramount+.

1932 is also another prequel to watch. The prequel follows the new generation of the Duttons during the great depression and western expansion.

You can also binge on 6666. Jimmy first introduced us to the 6666 ranches in season 4 when John sent him to become a true cowboy.

There isn’t a lot of information about the release date. However, we know that it will follow the lives of the ranchers. In addition, we might be seeing more of Emily and Walker on the ranch.

Yellowstone will be available for streaming on Paramount + and will probably premiere in 2022/23.

Where Will Yellowstone season 5 be Filmed

When Yellowstone decided to leave Utah for Montana, Taylor Sheridan and the Paramount Network decided that all filming would continue in Montana on the Chief Joseph ranch. Unless their agreement with the Libels stated otherwise, season 5 would also be filmed there.

After what was perhaps the most explosive season yet, knowing that the Duttons will be back for a drama-filled season, we cant wait to see what happens. Maybe as Kevin Costner said, they get their sh-t together, or maybe they blow sh-t up.
